Greenhealth Approved: Flooring

Products bearing the Greenhealth licensed seal for flooring must meet all of the following:

Greenhealth Approved will only license products that are applicable for use in a health care setting.

Products must be sold in the United States to receive the Greenhealth Approved seal.*
✓

Products must meet all silver level criteria of Health Care Without Harm’s healthy flooring guidance for manufacturers at a minimum. This includes every part of the flooring – the flooring material, coatings, and adhesives.^**

Products must be in one of the Greenhealth Approved flooring categories.
✓
Products must have one of the required disclosures:
- Health Product Declaration to 1,000 ppm (all substances characterized and screened)
- Declare label to 100 ppm (Red List free and no proprietary information)

Signing of an affidavit confirming that each product conforms with the criteria and that all information is true and correct is required.

*If your product is not sold in the United States, please complete our application so we can connect you with international opportunities to work with our organization.

** If products contain proprietary ingredients, those ingredients will need to be disclosed during the vetting process. If a supplemental NDA is necessary for that ingredient disclosure, we can work with you to execute one. An additional fee will apply.
